Christopher Murray President
Chris has started several companies and been involved in sales, marketing, and product development strategy for several others. He has spent nearly fifteen years working with web technologies on projects of all shapes and sizes.
He started C. Murray Consulting in 2005 with a profoundly simple idea: to do work that he likes doing, for organizations and people that he likes working with, all with team that enjoys working together and contributing to the open source community. So far, so good.
Prior to starting Oomph, Chris was Managing Director at CitySoft, a Boston-based web development firm, where he ran the Boston office of 30 employees, and assisted in the opening of offices in New York and Baltimore. While at CitySoft he worked with clients such as Polaroid, Reebok, and Stonyfield Farm on their web strategies and deployments. In 2003, he became Vice President of Sales and Marketing and responsible for marketing the company’s Community Enterprise product, an open source, customizable web content management system.
Chris is personally involved in many of the firm’s engagements, and focuses his energy on account management, strategy, business development, and client satisfaction.
A graduate of Boston College, Chris lives on the south coast of Massachusetts with his wife and three daughters. In his “spare” time can be found sailing or windsurfing on Buzzards Bay.
