Allen Waldrop

Allen is a locally trained software engineer with a focus on web technologies, including PHP, MySQL, ASP, C#, and SQL Server. He has an uncanny ability to switch from programming language to language with remarkable ease. Allen takes a keen interest in working with web-based system APIs and has recently worked with APIs from Salesforce.com, Google, Acuity, Satuit and Ning to achieve data interoperability between client systems and these third party services.

Prior to joining Oomph in 2008, Allen was a Web Software Engineer for Verizon in their Providence, Rhode Island customer support office. At Verizon, he worked on internal web system projects in both PHP and ASP/C#, including a completely custom-developed call center system, a performance management system for customer support representatives and managers, and the implementation of an intentions-based knowledge base for accelerating problem resolution with custom content management tools.

Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Johnson & Wales University in Computer Information Security.
