To be more accurate, our newest team members—Patrick Richardson, Creative Director, and Ken Boostrom, Account Manager—are more like family. See, we’ve not only welcomed them into the fold; we’ve already put them to work on the frontlines of the bold, hard-working idea machine that is Oomph. Once you get to know them, you’ll see why:
MEET PATRICK, CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Patrick, who heads up our new Boston office, has passion, experience and serious drive. Put those qualities together and you’ve got a real force of nature. That’s why we’ve chosen him to take the lead on some of our core client relationships, like NBC Sports, Blackberry RIM, New England Journal of Medicine, NBC Universal, Jellyvision and NESN. He’ll work with nearly every client in some capacity and lend his creative insight on all Oomph projects, big and small.
Oomph President Chris Murray says Patrick’s zeal for the world of digital solutions and hands-on agency experience will keep Oomph going and growing strong. As we put down roots in Boston, Patrick, a huge Celtics fan, is also charged with establishing Oomph’s presence in the region—and keeping his finger on the pulse of the industry for us.
Patrick comes to us from Schneider Associates where he managed their creative services department, supporting a national and regional client base through integrated marketing strategies including branding, video, social media, advertising, interactive, web, mobile and graphic design—all for top clients. Lucky, right? He says he feels lucky, too.
“I’m excited to join the Oomph team and use my creative leadership to produce innovative, tailor- made solutions for our amazing roster of clients,” Patrick says. One thing he loves is wowing clients with inventive answers to their most troublesome issues, and solving those roadblocks right inside the WordPress platform. Patrick wants clients to see that with Oomph, anything is possible. This coming from a guy who just completed the 116th Boston Marathon … so, we believe him!
MEET KEN, ACCOUNT MANAGER
Ken is the real deal. Just look at his smile. He’s a genuine guy, and a pleasure to work with— or even shoot hoops with (ask his son!). But we came to Ken because he knows what it takes to build strong client relationships and, essentially, provide a new level of service we think will be unmatched in the industry.
Chris calls Ken a unique jack-of-all-trades. And he’s right. Ken’s enthusiastic about everything he’s involved in—from design to coding to strategy—and he knows how to listen to our clients’ needs then translate them into solutions—and results. Plus, he’s a really cool guy to be around.
Ken is based out of the Providence office and brings with him 18 years of experience in advertising and marketing plus 10 years of web development. He’s had long-standing business relationships with major clients like ABC Sports and Titleist, just to name a few. Whatever his secret is, he’s sharing it now with us. We consider Oomph and Ken a perfect union.
“Oomph is a fantastic company, and my role in it is to support our clients’ ideas and offer relevant business options during the process of launching a new website or mobile medium,” says Boostrom. “Ultimately, I want to make sure the work delivered exceeds our clients’ expectations—I want them to love working with us.”
Both Patrick and Ken earned a part of their accomplished degrees from Syracuse University (Go Orange!), but these days they bleed red—Oomph red. And, we couldn’t be happier to have them on board.
